#5 - Maps
The maps from the » StarGate map package are the ones to be used. The tournament information will tell you which ones are available to choose from.

#6 - Disconnections
- If the disconnection occurs within 2 minutes of the beginning of a game, the match should be restarted

- If the disconnection occurs after the 2 minutes and within 5 minutes of the game, the players can agree to restart the match. If one of the competitors claims that they had a huge advantage and was going to win, the administrator will take a look at the replay and give his decision. If the game was even there will be a restart.

- If the disconnection occurs after 5 minutes, the one who disconnects will lose unless both players agree on a restart.

Intentional disconnects are of course forbidden.

#7 - Walkover
You will be allotted a win if you can not find your opponent within 20 minutes after the brackets are published. During this time you will have to do what you can to get in touch with them. When the 20 minutes have passed, tell the administrator and you will get a win.

#8 - Reporting
The loser reports the result of the match to the tournament administrator. If the loser does not report the game, the one who wins will simply have to do it. Although, not reporting a game will most likely be rewarded with a warning.

#9 - Time
First of all you have to sign up for the tournament in time. The registration process ends 20 minutes before the tournament starts. However, if there are 63 registered players and a 64th sends in a request to be in the tourney when it’s only 18 ½ minutes until the tournament starts, of course he will be added. Requests after that will result in a reserve position.

All times written on the page are CET unless otherwise stated. If you are unsure what time that will mean for you I suggest » Time Zone Converter.

Also, be sure that you can attend the whole tournament. We can’t have people dropping out in the semi finals just like that.

#10 - Different kinds of tournaments
The tournaments may be of different kinds or formats. The news post about it will give all the information needed.

GosuGamers may host tournaments such as:
- 1on1 Single Elimination (SE)
- 1on1 Double Elimination (DE)
- 2on2 SE
- 2on2 DE

And many, many more, of course.

Ideas may be sent to any crewmember in charge of the tournaments.

The tournament will be either official (with ladder points included) or unofficial (no ladder points included).

#11 - Observing
You are allowed to observe a match if:
- The game is created as UMS
- Both players agree on letting you observe
- Both the requirements above are met and you promise to be mannered and don’t behave badly in any way. Inappropriate behaviour will be dealt with.

#12 - Ladder points adding
Once the tournament is over, an administrator will add the points to the winner's accounts if ladder points were part of the prize. This can only be done while the winners are offline. We usually give the ladder points as soon as possible, but reserve the right to give them up to three days after depending on Crew availability.

#13 - Violation
Any kind of violation against the rules will most likely result in a disqualification from the tournament. More serious matters may also be punished with a warning.

#14 - Administration
The administrators’ decisions are the ones to follow. Any complaints about an administrator should be posted in the » Site suggestions & support forum. Make sure to include a detailed explanation about what happened and what you think was made wrong by the crewmember. Tips or ideas can be sent to any crewmembers that take care of the tournaments. An administrator has the rights to observe ANY game.
