We are counting down the days to the 2024 World Championship in London, England!
The journey to the 2024 League of Legends World Championship is well underway as we take a look at what to watch for this week, which will be all about the respective Summer Splits. This will also be the last week of games as the Esports World Cup is coming up that will feature the two invited teams from the four major regions.
As it stands, the LPL will play its fourth and final week of matches these next few days while the LEC will finish its group stage this weekend. The LCS still has five more weeks to go in its group stage fixtures while the LCK has three more to go before the playoffs. Worlds 2024 is just two months away and it will be London's second time to ever host an international League event with the first being the Mid-Season Invitational last season.
LPL Summer Split - Week 4
The LPL Summer Split will have its final stretch of group games this week with two matches a day. However, the group stage is just the first phase of the LPL Summer Split as they will move on to the Rumble Stage first before they can make it to the playoffs. There will be an extended break between the group stage and playoffs as Top Esports and Bilibili Gaming will be in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the Esports World Cup.

LCK Summer Split - Week 3
There are only three weeks left of group-stage games in the LCK Summer Split before they move on to the playoffs. This week will have two matches a day for five days straight. Gen.G Esports are currently in the lead once again with zero losses to its name while the defending world champions, T1 sit in fourth despite having only one loss. The LCK will go on an extended break after this week as Gen.G and T1 will be participating in the Esports World Cup.

LCS Summer Split - Week 3
This weekend will be the third week of games for the LCS with just four matches total over two days. Much like the other regions, the LCS will be taking an extended break due to the upcoming Esports World Cup, which will see both FlyQuest and Team Liquid take part in the eight-team single-elimination tournament. Both teams are currently in the top-four of the group stage where they are joined by Cloud9 and Team Dignitas.

LEC Summer Split - Week 4
Unlike the rest of the other regions, which feature one to two matches a day, the LEC has taken a different approach given all their games are a best-of-one series. This weekend will have five games a day to determine the final standings that will see the top eight teams move on to the playoffs. The four teams that have already qualified include Fnatic, SK Gaming, Team BDS, and G2 Esports, which leaves just four more spots available. The playoffs will start in the middle of July as both Fnatic and G2 will be at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh.
