The wait for T1 and LoL Esports fans is finally over.

League of Legends (LoL) developer Riot Games has unveiled the long-anticipated T1 Worlds 2024 skin line. Each year, Riot honours the reigning world champions with a commemorative set, and since 2016, players have been directly involved in shaping the concept and design of their chosen champion’s skin.

To qualify, the champion must have been played at least once during the tournament, with additional rules restricting which champions are eligible. If a team already has a skin for a particular champion from a past victory, Riot may ask the player to make another selection.

In 2024, South Korean juggernauts T1triumphed against Bilibili Gaming in a 3-2 thriller in the grand finals to raise the Summoner’s Cup at the 2024 LoL World Championship. This marked the fifth Summoner’s Cup for LoL G.O.A.T. Sang-hyeok “Faker” Lee and the T1 organisation as a whole.

It was a remarkable turnaround for T1, who endured a rocky Summer split and only just qualified for Worlds as the fourth seed for LoL Champions Korea (LCK). Once they reached the international stage, however, they rediscovered their form, advancing through the Swiss Stage with a 3-1 record. In the Quarterfinals, they swept LPL giants Top Esports 3-0, before finally breaking their curse against tournament favourites Gen.G. After a year of losses to their domestic rivals, T1 dismantled them 3-1 in the semifinals, ending Gen.G’s streak and booking their spot in the grand finals.

With momentum on their side, T1 went the distance in the title decider, taking down Bilibili Gaming in a nail-biting 3-2 to claim the crown.

This unforgettable run is now immortalised in the T1 skin line, featuring Gnar, Vi, Yone, Sylas, Varus and Pyke. Arriving with patch 25.18, the collection brings a fierce look to the Rift, combining deep reds, heavy armour and an unmistakable championship aura. The skins have already appeared on the PBE, giving fans their first look at how each player chose to commemorate T1’s road to the Summoner’s Cup.

Let’s take a closer look at each skin.

Zeus: Gnar

Although Choi “Zeus” Woo-je has now stepped away from T1, his impact is immortalised through Gnar. Both forms are kitted out in the team’s colours, while the recall animation cleverly nods to the moment Zeus bumped his head on the trophy during the team’s victory celebrations.

Oner: Vi

Moon “Oner” Hyeon-joon carried a monstrous 83.3% win rate on Vi across six games at Worlds, so it’s no surprise he went with her for his skin.

Oner previously picked Lee Sin in 2023, but this time chose to honour Vi, whose design includes a recall featuring his trademark jacket slung over the shoulders. Fans will instantly recognise the look that became part of his aura both domestically and on the international stage.

Faker: Yone and Prestige Sylas

Worlds 2024 Yone skin for Faker

As Worlds 2024 MVP, Faker receives two skins. His Yone skin features a recall with the iconic “silence” pose, one of Faker’s most legendary moments. The Prestige Sylas skin goes all-out with golden chains and symbols, culminating in Sylas breaking free while raising the trophy high.

Gumayusi: Varus

With Jhin already saturated in Worlds skins, Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong looked to Varus for his pick. The recall animation is a playful nod to the viral moment where he tried a giant French croissant and exclaimed, “It’s goooooood!” in front of the crowds.

Keria: Pyke

Pyke is Keria's choice for his Worlds 2024 skin.

Many expected Ryu “Keria” Min-seok to finally choose Renata Glasc, but Pyke stole the spotlight this year, with Keria executing game-changing hooks and plays.

His recall perfectly captures Pyke hauling in the Worlds 2024 treasure with his harpoon, which is a stylish fit for one of the most creative supports in the game.

Release date and availability

The T1 Worlds 2024 skins are now available on PBE but will officially release on 10 September with patch 25.18. Pricing has not yet been confirmed, but individual skins are expected to sit at 1,350 RP, while the bundle is likely to fall between 6,300 and 7,100 RP. The set will also include icons, emotes and other content.

As always, these are limited-time releases, so T1 fans will want to grab them while they’re available. Alongside them, all previous Worlds skins will return to the store, giving players a chance to round out their collections.
