What are we watching this week - Worlds 2023 Semifinals

Check out the Worlds 2023 semifinals this weekend to see who will head to the grand finals.
And then there were just four teams after the quarter-finals of the Worlds 2023 Knockout Stage. This saw the likes of JD Gaming, Weibo Gaming, and Bilibili Gaming from the LPL go through whilst T1 is the sole representative of the LCK. The quarter-final took place at the Sajik Indoor Arena in Busan, Korea and it will also be the home of the semifinals.
As for the grand finals, that will at the Gocheok Sky Dome as the last two teams in the tournament make their way back to Seoul. And with T1 being the only team left from the LCK, expect plenty of support coming from the local fans who will be hoping to see both T1 and Sang-hyeok “Faker” Lee lift yet another Summoner's Cup. However, in their way will be JD Gaming, this year's Mid-Season Invitational champions who are looking to make a grand sweep this year.
Much like Worlds 2018 that took place in South Korea, it was an LPL team that won it as Invictus Gaming took home the title. And on that iG team that won in 2018, only Kang “TheShy” Seung-Iok of WBG remains in the running to repeat his former team's glory. But WBG will have to face-off against BLG first, another LPL team they have had difficulties against throughout this season.
The semifinals will take place this weekend, starting with the all-LPL best-of-five series between Bilibili Gaming and Weibo Gaming on Saturday, November 11. The JD Gaming versus T1 match-up will start on Sunday, November 12. The winners of both series will move on to the grand finals, which will be on November 19.
