We have our final eight teams for the League of Legends World Championship.

And just like that, we are down to our final eight teams for the League of Legends World Championship after the conclusion of the Swiss Stage. We will now head into the Knockout Stage, which starts later this week to determine who will lift the Summoner's Cup come the grand finals on November 19. It has been an exhilarating last few weeks towards the tail-end of the Swiss Stage with more teams getting eliminated from the tournament.

The likes of JD Gaming and Gen.G Esports were the first two teams to confirm their spots into the Knockout Stage. They were soon joined by LNG Esports, NRG, and T1 about a week later. And with just three slots remaining, it was KT Rolster, Weibo Gaming, and Bilibili Gaming who finalised the top eight teams that will go through. As to be expected, the LPL has dominated Worlds 2023 so far as all four teams are still in contention to win it all.

As of right now, there will be a three-day rest period before the world championship resumes with the start of the Knockout Stage quarterfinals. Each series will be a best-of-five in a single-elimination bracket with the quarterfinals and semifinals taking place at the Sajik Indoor Arena in Busan, South Korea. The grand finals, on the other hand, will be played at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
