Counter-Logic Gaming has announced that Tony "Zikzlol" Gray will be taking over their vacant Head Coach position.

CLG officially has their new Head Coach and it comes in the form of their former Strategic Coach Tony "Zikzlol" Gray. After letting go their previous coach, Chris "Blurred Lines" Ehrenreich, the company made the announcement to promote one of their own instead of seeking outside help for the position.

Tony "Zikzlol" Gray has been with Counter-Logic Gaming since 2013 starting as an analyst and eventually moving up the ladder over the years. Having been with the team for all this time must have certainly been a large selling point for CLG, as Gray would already be tightly intertwined with the players and the team culture. One of the current players, Zaqueri "Aphromoo" Black, has already voiced his support with the decision, saying that Gray is "smart, a hard worker, and earned the respect of everyone here."

His resume also isn't bad, working with other prolific coaches such as Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykles and William "scarra" Li. It will have to be seen in the upcoming season whether or not CLG's decision to stay in-house will pay off.
