Tornado Rox.Cortez: "Night Inside are not a weak team"

The team manager of Tornado Rox Anatoly «Cortez» Nazarenko has spoken about the causes of the defeat of the Night Inside and preparing for the match against mousesports.
— Tornado Rox are able to compete against teams like MYM, but they have suffered a defeat from Night Inside. What happened in that match?
— Night Inside are not a weak team — they have strong players and with enough training they will be able to show good results at StarSeries.
Speaking about our game, on second map Dimajke had connection troubles and we had to finish the match with only 4 players. On third map our opponents have taken the initiative and didn’t let go until the end.
— Night Inside have shown great performance both against your team and against Hard Random. Is it a coincidence or is the skill level of CIS teams rising?
It’s hard to call it a coincidence, as both games were a 2:1 score for NiN, and coincidence is usually only 1 won map in a Bo3 series.
Talking about skill level, I don’t think it’s the issue, most probably not all teams know how to play against new teams and probably even underestimate them. This already happened at SLTV Season 4, when team Just was defeating all the opponents, but later everyone has learned how to play against them, and things went back to normal.
— How hard is it to play against European and Turkish teams? What do they have, that CIS teams lack?
— It’s not hard, and often it’s even convenient, as mostly their play style is pretty slow, with focus on objectives, rather than regular team fights.
We also choose this style and try playing it. In CIS many teams try to gain dominance at lanes and win the game in 20 minutes, but if this plan fails, the players often are lost and don’t know how to end the game, even despite having huge advantage.
When comparing European \ Turkish teams with CIS teams, the most important difference is the amount of practice — 4 foreign teams who participate in LBA are at bootcamp for more than 2 months, and this gives serious progress in terms of teamplay.
— Which team has impressed you the most in LBA and why?
I can’t say that anyone has impressed me, but I can once again mention Night Inside and say that hardly has anyone expected them to defeat Hard Random, but I can’t say they have impressed me. It’s just that other teams probably should pay more attention to them and prepare better for future matches against Night Inside.
Other teams who are still in the tournament are performing as predicted.
— The match against mousesports lies ahead. How will you spend your time before it?
— Training. Mousesports are one of the strongest Challenger teams in Europe, and that only means that the match will be tough.
— Just imagine that you will advance to the play-offs. How will you celebrate it?
— I don’t think we will celebrate, we need to play and show results, so we will be busy with preparing for play-off games.
