Unicorns of Love receive their third jungle replacement this season with their new starting jungler Jean-Victor “Loulex” Burgevin. Rudy “Rudy” Beltran will no longer be with the organization.

Despite several ups and downs and internal issues, the Unicorns of Love has had one of their strongest European LCS performances in quite some time. They currently stand with a score of 8-4, leaving them solemnly in 4th place due to a three way tie for EU’s 1st place.

That may soon change, though, as the team yet again looks to change their starting jungler. On February 22nd, the team announced that Rudy, their current jungler, will be replaced by Loulex, former jungler of H2K Gaming back in Season 5.

Having only been his first time in the LCS, Rudy joined UOL back in Week 4 after the team’s original jungler, Danil “Diamondprox” Reshetnikov, saw visa issues with the German government. Rudy leaves the team with a solid 3.88 KDA after only six games.

Loulex, on the other hand, is quite the LCS veteran. He helped H2K see 3rd place in both the spring and summer split of Season 5. Even more impressive was achieving his first ever performance at Worlds in the 2015 Group Stages, ending in a 2-4 score. After being removed from the Worlds competition via elimination, Loulex was released from H2K and has not competed in the LCS since.

With this turn of events it will be interesting to see if UOL will be able to keep up their strong performance. Despite Loulex’s record, a roster change this late into the split can very easily bring things crashing down. Tune into the EU LCS on Week 7 to see if Loulex has what it takes to bring this team into top three material.
