LMQ and Evil Geniuses both found ways to slowly close out against Spring Split leaders, TSM and Cloud9.         LMQ found quick early advantages by picking up dragons and abusing Dyrus in the top lane. Bjergsen made an attempt to pick up a few kills in the mid game, but ackerman's Kayle snowballed out of control, and TSM could not handle his hyper carry power.   In the second game, Cloud 9 took an early gold lead, primarily in farm.  Evil Geniuses, however, did not give up kills and were able to bide their time and set up vision traps around dragon.  They would then wait for Hai's Kha'Zix to initiate and turn fights with Wild Growth.  This allowed them to slowly accrue a gold lead and take out the Spring Split Champions.
