After a long time streaming on Azubu, Counter Logic Gaming officially moves to an exclusive partnership with Twitch.tv.
For some time, the CLG organization has received some criticisms for their partnership with Azubu over Twitch. Though Azubu has made strides to improve their service as a competitor, Twitch's viewership is considerably larger at this time. Some have criticized CLG for limiting the amount of money their players can make through streaming by maintaing a relationship with Azubu.
Today, CLG announced on onGamers that they will be starting an exclusive partnership with Twitch.tv. All player streams will now be found on Twitch.tv. HotshotGG's official statement suggests that the decision ultimately came down to the fact that the organization was originally grounded in community, and it was against CLG's interests to partner with a site that gets lest traffic than Twitch.
The CLG organization was built out of a community; a group of fans who rallied together behind a League of Legends team and set of values which defines CLG to this day. Streaming, and interaction with our community through it, is one of these primary founding values, which I will readily admit we’ve at least partially neglected. Friends, I’m here to tell you now however that I and the rest of CLG are back. I know CLG fans have waited on this moment for a long time, and I’m happy that we can finally deliver it to them.

CLG also released a somewhat campy video, featuring Doublelift, Aphromoo, and Link, to celebrate the partnership. Whether this decision will impact Azubu's growth remains to be seen.
