Coast took out XDG to avoid the bottom, and Cloud 9 crushed Curse to find first place in NA LCS. Coast and XDG also played a close match with Coast coming ahead in lane. ZionSpartan took a hefty lead against Benny, and WizFuuJin also had an impressive laning phase. The game came down to a Baron fight starting out with mandatorycloud in the bottom lane. Coast was able to force a 4v5 and gather Baron to win the game. Cloud 9 picked to push out lanes with Soraka mid. They received an early boost with a first blood on an invade. After that, Cloud 9 rallied to execute their comp, shoving out lanes and sustaining through fights. Hai's Soraka was able to stand in the middle of a fight with Barrier and draw Curse's attention, using heal to buff armor. His team beat the enemies down, and Cloud 9 took a fairly easy win.
