KT Bullets punches through the bracket, while Fnatic scraps a chance for revenge.

China and Korea squared off in an intense back and forth match, while the two European teams pulled out something akin to their current LCS games: long-winded and struggling.
iG vs KTB
KT Rolster bullets opened up the game with an aggressive invade, chunking Kid down early on. However, not only was it answered by Illusion counterjungling, but the iG AD Carry actually got ahead in cs versus KTB's Score. InSec, trying to show that he is still one of the best junglers out there, was faltering at start, as he was easily read and counter initiated, giving the Chinese team a good lead at the first.
The real highlight, however, was from Zztai on Yasuo, who managed to outplay Ryu in lane, even winning in a 1v2 once inSec joined the fray. Kid also become godlike in the mid game, showing off impressive skill in positioning and targeting, including one huge teamfight near dragon where he was the sole survivor. Sadly, that is where they started to fall off, as a poor baron call cost the iG lives, giving KTB a small window to get back into the game.
While Invictus Gaming took out a mid inihibitor, that was the last achievement they will make, as from then on the Korean tenacity persevered. A baron steal here, a favorable teamfight there, and slowly and surely KTB rode the turnaround momentum all the way to victory plus a spot in the playoffs.
[M] vs FNC
Rekkles and Yellowstar lane swapped with sOAZ, going for a fast push opening. It paid off as Kev1n was left alone to his devices and gave away first blood via a 3-man dive with Cyanide. Araneae on Hecarim was unable to do anything in the early game, focusing instead on getting his ult first and help his teammates in a later stage of the game.
What followed was a lengthy game overall, as both team were hesistant in making huge plays, each opting instead to execute small skirmishes. Kevin and Araneae looked good with their ghost rush duo, but Olaf kept getting caught off guard. On the other side, Fnatic didn't look so hot with Cyanide and sOAZ leading the fray as well. The intensity stepped up when Millenium forced big fights, but ultimately it was xPeke and his team that were better composed and coordinated. After a well-deserved win, Fnatic will face iG again tomorrow for a runback and a chance to qualify for the playoffs.
