Curse acquires a much needed win with their new support "Fufu" to break the Curse they've had of bad performances in the LCS.

CRS vs. XDG

In a battle of former North American hot teams that are now slumping quite a bit, the fight between both was even for an incredibly long time.  35 minutes in, the gold difference was negligible and both teams had four turrets a piece.  Voy ended up sick on the stage before the game, but came back looking like a true carry.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, Mancloud did his traditional solid farming and missing nearly no CS.  Curse set up Quas with a strategy that would utilize him as a fast, tanky distraction while they grabbed baron.  To their luck, Curse was able to do this twice.  The second time would spell the end of the game for XDG and would give Curse the victory and a much needed confidence boost for one of the two new supports in that game.

CST vs. DIG

Crumbzz was able to get Eve this game and, therefore, put a lot of game pressure on the game. Miscommunication from Coast allowed Crumbzz to grab an early first blood and start snowballing.  Coast would not hand the game over so easily though and managed to get a kill on bottom which lead into a dragon, evening out the score.

As time passed, even with the nerfs, Coast's Kassadin got incredibly strong.  There was a huge mid-game swing-around, but Dignitas still held it together, especially with Qtpie's squishy smashing build. Again, with baron winning all games as usual, Dignitas acquire it while narrowly saving the inhibitor, and Dignitas were able to push Coast in for the victory to end day 1 of NA super-week.
