Team Coast wiped the floor with Evil Geniuses to end the first day while TSM showed they can still perform with Reginald on the roster.
DIG vs. TSM
Reginald found himself back on the field of justice and was holding his own and even outfarming Scarra early. Dignitas managed to get first blood, but with the help of TheOddOne, TSM's bottom lane were able to grab a double kill. The camp was heavy on the returning mid laner just as it was for HotshotGG in CLG's first weeks, knowing that he may not be in tip top shape. Dignitas were barely coming out ahead in every fight.
Reginald was able to assassinate DIG's Jinx and after the pick, TSM were able to grab a baron, abusing the fact that all of DIG's ultimates were down and could not steal. Reginald continued to assassinate qtpie and TSM were quickly snowballing the lanes. After a huge and constant swing from TSM, they were easily able to overcome DIG.
CST vs. EG
Coast were able to find the initial advantage in the rivalry with an excellent showing from NintendudeX, grabbing 3 kills for his team before the midgame. ZionSpartan also didn't pick a tank and went with his traditional, well performing damage dealing tops, pulling ahead of InnoX. EG tried to find an edge by splitpushing with Pobelter on Zed.
Coast continued to rampage through the game, absolutely demolishing Evil Geniuses at every turn. Coast turned their advantage into many other small ones, such as vision control, objective control, and superior rotations. In the end, Evil Geniuses got stomped and Coast took the victory.
