Imperium Pro Team struggles in their 2014 GPL Spring debut

The game started out with windolicka and Hatred making strong plays to secure first blood and an early lead in the bottom lane. Top lane managed to stay even for IPT, even against Shyvana's onslaught, and Light was winning convincingly with his Spirit of the Spectral Wraith pickup. Soon, however, ShinYa began to followup windowlicka's ganks. His more consistent roams bottom kept both ShinYa and Crazypine in the game. The continued pressure also forced Hero to fall behind BBTY, as he used his teleport bottom in failed attempts to turn Shinya's ganks. With the acquisition of dragons, Insidious Gaming eked out a decisive lead with sloppy fights that managed to continuously go slightly in their favor. Eventually, they amassede enough gold to end the game. Though all lanes won convincingly for Saigon Jokers, the solo laners seemed to be the stars of the team. Optimus found solo kills on Light with his Nidalee, which allowed the Jokers to pick up early dragons and effectively keep Kassadin down. QTV continued the trend of Vietnamese bruiser Gragases beating Renektons today. He was fairly on point with ults, waddling into IPT and releasing the cask. Archie and Optimus poked down IPT until a good engage could be found around objectives, and Saigon Jokers quickly picked up whatever global gold they seemed to desire.
