Cloud 9 continues their win streak by defeating the newly rearranged XDG squad while Curse shows promise by quickly swinging the game in their favor and taking down Coast.

CRS vs. CST

The game between scrim partners started off relatively slow with both teams farming up for the first several minutes of the game. The early game was simply the calm before the storm however, and fighting would commence with Coast having a slightly lead in kills.  Curse had a slight lead in gold due to superior farming, and the gold was funneling into Cop. With poking back and forth, the game stayed quite even.

The game was stalled by Coast for awhile because they acquired the first baron, but Curse waited it out and took one of their own.  Curse were much more aggressive in their approach to the game, utilizing their baron buff to zerg down objectives.  Shortly after acquiring the baron buff, Curse Gaming were quick to drive the game home for their first victory in the LCS.

XDG vs. C9

Benny took notes from Darien in using Warwick in the top lane to make things exciting in this matchup. Cloud 9 continued the trend of rushing for a very first server, with XDG attempting to trade with them but failing. Meteos was the first to draw blood with an excellent mass roam from C9. The game did slow down at that point, and C9 took the leisure time to sneak dragon at 12 minutes in.

The game remained very even until XDG walked to the wrong place at the wrong time and Cloud 9 surpassed them with a heavy lead.  This allowed for Cloud 9 to freely acquire a baron while Benny's Warwick tried to split push. After some further methodical play, Cloud 9 were able to close out their second win against the new and arguably improved XDG squad.
