SHC vs ALL
The second day kicks off with "super team" Alliance trying to bounce back from their 0-2 debut, versus the newbloods, Supa Hot Crew XD. Both teams went for strong teamfighting lineups, with Alliance having more lockdown, while SHC focused more on engaging and disengaging. Early game displayed Froggen's superior mechanics over Moopz, while MrRallez and Migza were slightly outplaying ALL's duo lane. However, small mistakes from the so-called "super team," such as Shook dying the a gank he initiated, and Wickd forcing his Triforce build. This led SHC to form a far stronger wall for protecting Lucian, and their objective control was also better, which let Gragas even out his gold deficit against LeBlanc. By mid and late game, ALL didn't have neither a strong nor tough enough team to face SHC head on. In the end, the hyped super team falls once more, anf Supa Hot Crew XD grabs its first win in the EU LCS.
FNC vs SK
Diffferent players (for one side, anyway), same rivalry. El Classico is back in action. Fnatic's team comp was all about protecting Rekkles on Jinx, with xPeke's Gragas being the secondary source of damage, while SK Gaming built a somewhat fast push lineup with Nunu by nRated on Support, something that we haven't seen in a while. While during the first ten minutes it was break even, past the laning phase is even FNC hit the pedal to the metal. The "Rekking Ball" duo of Reklles and YellOwStaR proved unstoppable once again, as they did not die a single time once more after three separate games. With Jinx getting snowballed to hell, this allowed xPeke to get stronger safely, and just like most of their "El Classico" matches during the ocelote days, Fnatic once again came out on top, destroying its rival in exciting fashion.
MILL vs GMB
It looked like the battle of the junglers for this match, as people were looking at Diamondprox and Araneae as the main instigator of their respective team's victory. Millenium had a strong teamfighting comp, with many ways to force an engage, such as Vi's Assault and Battery and Leona's Solar Flare, among others. Gambit Gaming went for a more pick-oriented lineup, with Darien's Warwick leading the charge. Just like the previous game, it was more or less an even fight. In fact, it had a low kill count and a lot less action, which wasn't expected considering these two teams... until that one teamfight happened. A counterinitiate by Gambit set off a huge domino effect, allowing them to get multiple kills of MILL, which led to Baron, to led to more towers, followed by more kills, followed by... you get the rest. What most teams say about GMB stay true: "Give them a finger, they take the whole arm...and then some."
