In an interview with Travis, George "HotshotGG" Georgallidis explains that Marcel "dexter1" Feldkamp was not denied entry to the US because of contract issues and that he will be the chosen jungler for Counter Logic Gaming in the upcoming LCS.

Four days ago, Marcel "dexter1" Feldkamp was denied entry in the United States due to a lack of work visa.  Many speculated that he had not obtained the proper visa because CLG had yet to employ him under an official contract.

In an interview with onGamers, George "HotshotGG" Georgallidis explains that dexter1's visa status had nothing to do with a contract or lack thereof.  He explains that both the rest of the team and dexter1 agreed to make him the jungler for the LCS Spring Split beginning on January 17th, and that signing an official contract would have changed nothing.

"We told him what to say and what not to say.  Just something along the lines messed up."

According to HotshotGG, dexter1 originally came to the United States on the same visa as the European teams competing in the Battle of the Atlantic, and that this visa was not valid for working.  For this reason, he was denied entry.  CLG are working closely with a visa lawyer employed by Riot to obtain the work visa for dexter1.  HotshotGG doubts this will be completed in time for the first super week, but hopes that details will be finalized by the second week of the North American LCS.

HotshotGG confirms that dexter1 is no longer on trial, and the team looks forward to having him back as soon as possible.  While the details are being arranged, however, the team must come up with a substitute solution.  He, Michael "bigfatlp" Tang, and Steve "Chauster" Chau are being considered as temporary substitutes, having played jungle for the team before.  He is optimistic of the team's success with a substitute considering the teams they face in the first week.

"We have an easier spectrum of players, so it might not be that bad.  At least we go one and two, but we could pull out a 3-0."

From there, the interview moves away from the topic of dexter1, and Travis and HotshotGG discuss North American solo queue, HotshotGG's switch from Leblanc to Xerath, HotshotGG's position as a coach and how he works with Christopher "MonteCristo" Myles, and his dreams of competing in Korean solo queue.  Significantly, HotshotGG explains that he thinks CLG needs to work more on playing as a team and analyzing themselves from an observer's perspective than from a selfish one to improve.
