Martin "Deficio" Lynge, manager and coach of Ninjas in Pyjamas, confirmed on Twitter that the team will be participating in the Coke Zero League, quelling rumors.

On Saturday, Tony "ShLaYa" Carmona started the rumor mill churning with the following Twitter post.

Reddit detective always right ~

The post refers to several jokes on Reddit claiming that, after failing to qualify for the LCS in the Promotion, the current Ninjas in Pyjamas roster would get picked up by Lemondogs, the team which three of the NiP members played for last split.  This would put the current Lemondogs team, for which ShLaYa plays mid, out of a job so close to the start of the 2014 Spring Split.

ShLaYa later clarified that these were only rumors.

These are just rumors at the moment (heard from players, reddit post etc.). But looking at some posts it's getting really scarry. #waiting

Today, previous support player and current manager and coach for Ninjas and Pyjamas, Martin "Deficio" Lynge, announced the team's plans to compete in the Coke Zero League, where they will hopefully gain the experience they need to become an LCS level team.

NiP will play Coke League and I'm happy for that. Will be a great experience for the guys and make them very strong in the long run.

He further stated that "It was NEVER an option for them to join LD" in response to redditers using his tweet as evidence that NiP will not be joining the Lemondogs.  Regardless of speculation or expectation that the current LD lineup will fail in the LCS, it seems like ShLaYa and crew have nothing to worry about at least until the split ends.

You can watch both the Lemondogs in the EU LCS and Ninjas in Pyjamas in the Coke Zero League beginning on January 14th.
