Although nothing is final, vVv Gaming announced on their website today some significant changes to their League of Legends team, including a second team and bringing on LCS veterans Brandon “DontMashMe” Phan and Cristian “Cris” Rosales.

According to the team, after failing to exit the groupstage of the North American Promotion Qualifier for the Season 4 LCS, it was agreed that certain members were not achieving their maximum potential, and would be better served by changing their role. In order to accommodate this shift, a second team was created, allowing former top-laner and captain Richard “GetSnuggled” Pilkington to return to his home in the jungle as leader of one team while Zixing “Tails” Jie (seen left) heads up the second squad in his new mid-lane position.

Both teams have successfully placed in the top 20 seed on the Challenger Ladder in order to secure their spot of the Play-In stage of the Challenger Series, and four of original vVv members remain with the organization, though not all on the same team, the only departing member being support player Alec "Godshu" Fitcher.

vVv also stresses that “these rosters are still in the trial phase, and are not completely finalized”, but they certainly give an idea as to the level of talent present on both squads. The teams will be in gaming houses in preparation for their participation in the Challenger Series, and an announcement regarding the final rosters should 

be expected in the near future.

The current iterations of the rosters see the brother duo of Linden “CheesedBeluga” Schwark and Braeden “PorpoisePops” Schwark joined by ex-Team Coast marksman player and LCS veteran Brandon”DontMashMe” (seen right) Phan on the first team while GetSnuggled and Tails are joined by another LCS player, the former Velocity eSpots player Cristian “Cris” Rosales. The other slots are filled by Challenger level players.

Both teams are currently without official titles, though it appears that the organization is taking suggestions on reddit.
