The Spring Runners-Up get swept, and the standings remain as close as ever.

LD vs GMB

Already 0-2 this week, Gambit Gaming is not performing as it used to duting the Spring Split, and with the standings so dangerously close, it is not the time for them to be slumping. Lemondogs, on the other hand, is on a roll. Barring its loss vs SK, the team has not stopped rampaging their way at the top of the league.

For the rookies, this game seemed to be no different. Though Alex Ich got a sizable lead on Zed, the other lanes were not so lucky. LD's AoE lockdown comp, with Vayne and Elise on cleanup duty, crushed GMB during teamfights. Darien once again was not able to snowball again and become useful for the team, which weakened the burst potential of his team. With a crippled lineup, GMB ends their week with a devastating 0-3 and for the first time in a long while, a negative win-loss ratio.

NiP vs MYM

It seemed that the Ninjas in Pyjamas are getting their stride back, especially Bjergsen who is the backbone of the team. His assassins have been instrumental in their recent success, and taking on the struggling Meet Your Makers, he decided to step in up a notch by bringing somebody as annoying: Shen.

It was the buff steal attempt that sealed MYM's fate. Giving Bjergsen's Zed First Blood simply allowed him to snowball out of control and start roaming immediately. With Shen in the mix, they were able to form a formidable ninja ganking duo. A Zed hunting prey and a Shen for immediate backup were already too much for their opponents, and after some time this one-sided fight mercifully ended.

EG vs SK

Capping off Day 2 was a match of the old guard, as SK Gaming faces off against Evil Geniuses. With both scrambling to get a playoff spot by the end of the season, they are set to prove that old dogs could still have new tricks up their sleeve.

If there was anything to take away from this match, it is that hyrqBot on a good day is a hyrqBot to be feared. His Lee Sin was monstrous. Dashing and kicking anyone and everyone from lane to lane, he made his carries look like supports. With the high-mobility team comp SK had, it was able to effective counter the AoE teamfight-centric lineup of EG and snag a much-needed win.
