DIG vs C9
The first game of the day started between Dignitas and Cloud 9. The match started heating up as soon as pick and bans started with Ashe and Rumble banned out. C9 who has utilized the Ashe/Zyra lane were forced to play differently. Dignitas looked strong at the start as they forced Sneaky out of lane, leading to a tower dive for Zyra. Cloud 9 then started their retaliation picking up two kills of their own, however Dignitas managed to once again take down the top lane Twitch/Zyra. With Dignitas looking extremely strong C9 tried to escape from every fight that Dignitas started, unfortunately the kills kept happening even with C9 running. With as many won fights that Dignitas had, they were still behind C9 in gold as the global objectives were all with C9. After playing a patiently all game C9 finally decided that the time was right to fight after a Dignitas tower dive. With incredible CC from Zyra and Shen, C9 managed to crush Dignitas with counter engages causing Dignitas to fall once again to C9. With this win C9 is now on a 11 game winstreak.
CLG vs CST
CLG vs Coast Gaming was the second game of the night. Throughout the season Coast has been the kryptonite pounding on CLG as they are 2-0 against them. CLG started the game with almost every member of CLG counter jungling Coast. With Coast falling behind early, CLG tried to do a very early tower dive. While the kill did not go into CLG's pockets, the tower gold did. Unfortunately after that happened Zion Spartan's computer started acting up. After a long delay Coast came back strong and managed to kill L1nk after hitting every skill shot for first blood. Coast continued to pound on the members of CLG as they picked off members of CLG one after another. Coast would then do a risky Baron and try to finish the game, however CLG would push them off after the inhibitor tower fell. The second Baron would once again go to Coast and with it they pushed into CLG's base. After two attempts to win with Baron buff, Coast would prove that the third times a charm. With three Barons under their belt Coast coasted past CLG to tie them with Dignitas for 6th.?
VUL vs VES
The third game of the day was between Vulcun against Velocity Gaming. With Velocity losing Vileroze, they tried to change up their playstyle. For the first 10 minutes of the game, both teams were unable to grab any kills. However Mancloud came out big and picked up two kills to start the game while managing to grab dragon after that. Vulcun continued their dominance afterwards by diving the bot lane of VES for another double kill and picking up the tower as well. Vulcun remained dominant for the rest of the game with very few hiccups along the way. ?
