The Summer season of OGN The Champions gathers together eigth seeded teams and eight new that beat the ten-day long Summer qualifiers which ended today. Invited back are the top eight finishers from the Spring split, namely MVP Ozone, CJ Blaze, CJ Frost, KT B (now "Bullets") ESG (formerly SKT #1 before their release from the organization), SKT T1 (now the only acting team under the SK Telecom brand), NaJin Shield and NaJin Sword, who've also undergone a minor name change. The new season of The Champions is also boasting a new sponsor as Hot6 - known in the field of eSports for their previous involvement with GomTV's StarCraft 2 League - comes to replace Olympus, the backers of the last two The Champions circuits.
