Invictus Gaming kicked off against Energy Pacemaker for the first game in this week's LPL with a very bottom-heavy focus from both teams.  Of course, it was action packed and dragon went down early for Invictus Gaming.  The gold distribution was also in favor of Energy Pacemaker where K4ne ended up 4-1 at 18 minutes.

Energy Pacemaker used their gold lead to make more aggressive plays and continue snowballing their lead. Energy Pacemaker's K4ne also continued racking up the kills, meaning as long as his very protective team kept him alive, he'd dish out all the damage the team needs.

Picking off Kid was the start of an unbelievable comeback.

Both teams attempted to bait back and forth, ecah having three sweepers to clear vision.  Energy Pacemaker waited for the perfect time for Invictus Gaming to step away from their middle inhibitor to siege it and back off immediately. Energy Pacemaker tried doing an early baron and ended up aced for doing so. With minions nearly becoming "winions" for both sides, the pressure was on.

After fending off another baron, Illusion was able to become disruptive and steal the baron from Energy Pacemaker, who lost two inhibs and base towers to minions. With some extraordinary back and forth action and a decisive pick onto Kid, EP were able to push all the way from their base into iG's for the win.

The second game of the set was nearly half as long.  The first kill went over to Kid, who found revenge on Energy Pacemaker's bottom lane and came out on top early.  In fact, the whole team wanted revenge for their bitter defeat in the previous game of the set.  Invictus Gaming came in full control of the objectives, and their first dragon came in at 11 minutes.

Following the dragon, the first tower went down for Invictus Gaming at 12 minutes, which would be the precedent for their domination in the rest of the game.  Energy Pacemaker continued to lose in every fight and if the massive tower and kill lead wasn't enough without EP even downing a tower, Invictus Gaming added insult to injury with an 18 minute baron.

Invictus bring down baron at 18 minutes in the second game of the set.

Everyone on Energy Pacemaker at this phase of the game was down an average of 20 CS.  While they were able to harness the effort to grab a couple of turrets, the damage had already been done and Invictus Gaming were able to pressure 5 with 3 while commencing a two way split push.  Considering the results of game one, iG made short and convincing work in the second game to tie the set.

Game: 38:09 OMG

The second set of the day was OMG vs. Royal Club.  As expected, OMG grabbed an immediate advantage when Pomelo acquired first blood against Yao. OMG were able to grab the first turret of the game, and Yao would fall victim again to death from Xiyang.  Meanwhile, Uzi was the only player winning his lane in farm with Bao on Leblanc support.

Royal attempted to come back into the game with picks, but OMG were too far ahead.

Royal Club had not looked to have improved significantly in any fashion, regardless of Uzi transitioning well into the AD carry role. Since Uzi was the only threat, OMG continued to pressure him and despite having peel and being Caitlyn, OMG found a way to disrupt and disable him from fights.

As the game proceeded onwards, it went as expected and Royal Club couldn't find an advantage anywhere.  Uzi had a ton of farm but was not able to make a massive impact from himself, especially with Yao being a devestated top lane.
Royal Club got demolished as OMG took the first game of the set.

Ryze was left unbanned and GGoing instantly jumped on the opportunity to use it.  As with most two game sets in the LPL,  the second was much shorter once again.  Royal Club got the edge this time around and were rotating quite well in taking towers, getting the intial 3 earlier than OMG.  OMG isn't at the top of the charts for nothing, however, and would turn things around.

Royal Club's warding was far better in this game than it had been in a long time, but San was much more impactful in teamfights while Uzi spent a lot of his time freezing top lane and farming.  OMG took advantage by intiating key strategies such as going for baron and taking it, taking out people with Nidalee spears as well.

OMG crushing down Royal Club 4v5 while San casually pushes bottom.

OMG were then able to win 4v5 fights while San pushed bottom lane.  OMG successfully pushed them off and murdered them top lane.  With all the lanes pushing in favor of OMG, Royal Club decided to quickly surrender.
