The long wait is soon to be over with HoN Tour Season 2 kicking off in the North American and European region. Yesterday the qualifiers ended with a new team called "Nice Prizepool" winning the tournament and therefore securing the 9th seed for Cycle 1.   This weekend HoN Tour officially returns with the Diamond Division coming back from the offseason. Yesterday the qualifiers officially ended and the eight teams joining the eight invited teams into the Diamond Division for the prestigious league to return. Ultimately the seeding for the first cycle was on the line and "Nice Prizepool" with former Absolute Legends members Kreamz, nQQdle, ggslayer and Present23 secured the 9th seed for the first cycle.   In the Grand Final of the Qualifier the newly formed team around DreamHack Summer 2013 participants nQQdle and ggslayer defeated another newly formed squad in "Pain Train" consisting off former Vietnamese Dream Team members gwefix and PinkyKurdi. Still Pain Train was not equipped to deal with the North American who put them away with a clear and decisive 2:0 - to earn the privilege of going against Team Excellent in the first round of the first Cycle of the Diamond Division.    Pain Train on the other side will meet the new face of Locomotives, who are no longer playing with their founder and long-time captain Jollem, but instead having MrLing under center. The rest of the teams that went through the qualifier will have progressively tougher tasks ahead of them - seeing that YungleYukerz will have to go toe-to-toe with Internet Gangster and Justice League will meet one of the favorites to win the cycle in Too Much Sugar.    The reigning and defending Champions of HoN Tour, the Garena Star League and DreamHack Summer, Stay Green will face off against a fairly unknown team called "You Love To Party", favorite Lions eSports will meet 12cm and the former compLexity Gaming has to go up against Replica to start off the new HoN Tour Season.
