For the second time in a row Turtle Master win the regular season of the Thailand G-League. Last month the team rose from a Division 1 team to be the front-runner of the G-League, this time they could repeat their success yet again.

It is known territory for Turtle Master by now - the first place after the regular season in the G-League. For the second consecutive time the former DotA team secured themselves the spot on top of the rankings, granting them a direct seed into the Grand Finals of the G-League May. Last month TurM also dominated the regular season, but could not overcome Sorry Sorry in the Grand Finals. The Turtles are looking to turn around that trend now, having lost two important Finals against Sorry Sorry in the last month.

The question is whether the new Made in Thailand squad will even reach the Grand Finals this time, as they have to go through either KaiD or their old rival Neolution eSports.MRR to even get in position to defend their G-League crown of April.

The way the G-League system operates KaiD and MRR will square off on the first day of the offline playoffs in the Garena.Thai studios, determining who will win the right to challenge MiTH.s2y in the G-League Semifinals.

The setting of this season is actually an exact replica of last months playoff scenario. KaiD and MRR slug it out in the first match, then the team formerly known as Yamaha.s2y faced the winner of that match - in that case Neolution eSports.MRR - before making the run through Turtle Master in the finals. While MiTH.s2y will most likely look to repeat history, Turtle Master are more than eager to avenge the last two losses in the G-League Grand Finals and the DreamHack Thai Qualifier Grand Finals. There chance to travel to Sweden is gone, but they can still claim the throne of Thailand.

The playoffs will take place this weekend in the Garena.Thai studios. The clash between KaiD and MRR will kick off the broadcast on May, 25th, directly followed by MiTH.s2y challenging the winner of that opening series. TurM can sit back and relax on the first day, but has to be ready on May, 26th when either MiTH.s2y, KaiD or Neolution eSports.MRR are challenging the squad for the highest Thai HoN honor.

Unfortunate news are dropped upon Gu Rock, Disco Oh Yeah, 1st eSports and the winless squad of Ruk Dek Mor Ton. All four will have to leave the G-League, the highest division the Thai HoN Tour has to offer, and play the next season down in the Division 1.

Barely saved from that fate is PaRoMa, who went on a surge in around the middle mark of the season, clinching two important wins to get enough points to get out of the bottom four. Around the eight round of the G-League, the dolphin squad was almost dead last in the rankings, but clutch victories over direct competition like d0y, RukD and 1st eSports in Round 9, 11 and 12 gave the dolphins enough momentum to swim out of the dangerous waters.

The four teams that will receive the promotion are not yet determined.
