Fury removed from Gale Force esports, cites potential future performance problems due to girlfriend.
Fresh off of returning to American soil after playing at the Summer Global Championship at DreamHack Summer in Sweden, Fury announced Tuesday he was no longer with Gale Force esports.

He then released a twitlonger explaining further details about being removed from the team.

” The reason I was kicked was because the team felt my girlfriend was too much of an 'issue' for the rest of the team...I was told I was a potential problem in the future if I where to break up with my gf I would cause issues with my performance, but that can be said about this whole roster. ”

We reached out to Fury for further comment and he told us that he doesn't believe this was the real reason he was kicked from the team.

"[They] admitted it has nothing to do with my play and performance or attitude towards the team."

” (They) admitted it has nothing to do with my play and performance or attitude towards the team. I still don't understand the real reason as to why it ended up to being my relationship was the reason why I was dropped but I was performing perfectly fine without any issues. I feel like Khroen and I perform the best at tournaments yet we have girlfriends so I don't understand why it was my relationship that got targeted where I feel other aspects of the team were holding us back. ”

With the Summer Season coming to an end and Fall qualifiers soon approaching, Fury gauged a guess as to who would be next to be pulled through the Rosterpocalypse blender.

Fury also informed us he was under contract until July and does not know how that will be dealt with upon his release from the team. He assures the community that he will continue to work hard and hopefully find a team for the Fall season.
”I'm still and always will be hungry to become the best, so I will continue my dream of winning a global and work hard and put in a lot of time into the game. ”

We have reached out to Gale Force esports for further comment on the matter and have no received a response, nor has the organization released a statement on social media.
