We all know major news is coming to Heroes of the Storm this week, but Blizzard has been leaving us a few clues on what to expect.
Heroes has been in pre-season since launch, and we know it's been a priority of the development team to start season one and release a ladder system, considering the major skill differences between Rank 1 players. From what it looks like, these tweets showcase a Diamond League and a Grandmaster League, giving players reason to improve beyond Rank 1.
Tracer was the most recent hero released and before these next two tweets we knew nothing about the next hero. However, this tweet shows the shadow of a dragon flying over a tribute, hinting at the next hero in the game. There is a lot of speculation as to what the hero will be and who it will be, seeing as there are many dragons in the Blizzard universe.
There is speculation in the community that the mysterious dragon is either Deathwing or Alexstraza, but there has also been ideas within the GosuCrew that it could be Ysera. A lot of people are expecting a support hero, suggesting that the game needs more fun support heroes and that this would be a great fit.
This tweet seems to confirm suspicions of the next hero being a support, with an ability similar to Brightwing's Polymorph. This isn't necessarily hardcore proof that the next hero is support, but it's beginning to seem like that. What we do know is that Blizzard sure loves to pick on Arthas.
It's hard to determine what exactly is being teased here, and whether it's an entirely new hero or related to the previous dragon hero. It does look like whatever is being teased shoots turkeys.
All of this is just a theory right now, as nothing is concrete evidence. What we do know is that major news is coming to HotS very soon and Blizzard likes to toy with our emotions (and Arthas).
