Having now won their 2nd Gold Series League, eStar takes home over $47,000 and takes back their spot as number #1 ranked team in the world

eStar has been the most dominate team in China for a long time now, and even the newest balance update doesn't seem to change that. Edward Gaming put up a good fight, but eStar's signature style of immaculate team work was too much to handle. This is eStars 2nd Gold Series championship win and with it comes another opportunity to look at how they did it:

Full Grand Finals hero picks here:

eStar consistently bans Uther while placing high priority on picking Sylvnas and Lt. Morales. The Medic enjoys some popularity in both NA and EU regions, but eStar's insistence on Sylvanas looks to be a team specific comfort pick due to Tumi's mastery of the hero. Only time will tell if these picks and bans become a competitive trend

EDward Gaming throughout the series favored Diablo and Rehgar, and whilst the synergy of their team compositions were there, eStar's decision making was unbeatable.

The Gold Series League was also the qualifying tournament for Chinese representation for the Heroes of the Storm Spring Championship. This means that both eStar and EDward Gaming will advance.

Congratulations to both teams for qualifying!
