With Na'Vi's spot in the main event pretty much guaranteed, let's take a look at how they got there.

There has been a ton of competitive heroes in the last week so Na'Vi winning ETS EU cup #2 qualifier #4 in such dominating fashion was easy to overlook. Then, Na'Vi went on to win another qualifier the next week. Who know's who is on top of the EU heroes scene, but Na'Vi fans are using this as sign of a front-runner emerging.

So does Na'Vi have what it takes to convincingly overtake the likes of Team Liquid and Fnatic? Their style is unique and their win against Fnatic during ETS qualifier #4 highlights two of their key strengths: their non-reliance on hard support heroes and superb warrior talent. Just look at Zarmony's win percentage when playing as high impact warriors.

Their most recent win against The Sandwhich Monkey during Qualifier #5 highlights the same strengths. By picking hybrid supports (like Tassadar and 7-sided-strike Kharazim) along with aggressive warriors they can avoid long battles that more dedicated supports excell in.

What other team would draft this?

However, this unique playstyle comes with a drawback and Fnatic took full advantage of it during Heroes Battle Arena in an impressive display of adaptability. Na'Vi looked like they were ready to sweep the series until Fnatic started drafting and banning all of Na'Vi's comfort heroes.

Fnatic banned Tyrande and Tyrael while picking aggressive heroes like Diablo, Sonya, and Leoric. They even started drafting hybrid supports like Tassadar and Kharazim. Na'vi was getting "Out Na'vi'ed" and couldn't adapt quick enough, causing 3 straight losses.

The only question that remains is how will these teams fair against each other and the recently china-hardened Team Liquid? If you'd like to get in on this action, don't forget to sign up. Qualifiers are open to everyone so long as you have a team. Enter the Storm will return with our 6th qualifier on January 3rd, and as always, they will be streamed live on twitch.tv/khaldor.
