DreamHack, one of the biggest esports names worldwide, is back with a major Heroes of the Storm tournament. Next week: The All-Stars Winter Clash.

DreamHack was home to some of the first LAN events for Heroes of the Storm, and soon they will be hosting another. The DreamHack All-Stars: Winter Clash, quite a mouthful, will be their biggest Heroes of the Storm tournament to date, with a prize pool of $25,000 USD.

While Team Liquid won the earlier two editions of the tournament, at DreamHack Summer and DreamHack Valencia, it is not as guaranteed that they will be winning this edition. The EU scene has changed a lot, and a big number of teams can now confidently challenge the (very different) Team Liquid of today. The question at this point however remains if they will even be able to play at the tournament, since a big amount of the eight total teams will be brought forth through qualifiers. A number of lucky teams will however get invited instead, although no information has made public on which teams will receive those invites.

The Winter Clash will be happening during DreamHack Winter, on the 26th and 27th of November. Similar to a lot of recent events, teams will have to play good enough during the GSL-style group stage to be able to continue on to the top-4 playoffs. Matches during the group stage will be Bo3's, while solely Bo5's will be played in the playoffs.

The online qualifiers will be played during the 18th and 19th of November, so tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, and teams are still able to sign up for the qualifiers which can be found by going to this link.
