Public test realm patch notes released with developer insight

Public test realm patch notes reveal big changes for the upcoming patch, including brightwing healing buff, chens flying kick fix, and sweeping changes to Kael'thas, Kerrigan, and Raynor

The biggest changes are the inclusion of a new battleground and of course, Kharazim the Diablo 3 Monk, but along side of them are a whole host of quality of live improvements, including new ranking systems, multiple hero improvements, and large balance changes. Several key talents were nerfed, including Gathering Power, Imposing presence, and Cleanse.
Leoric, the current flavor of the month dominating the win percentages has also been nerfed significantly, reducing his death-timer cool down reduction significantly. His Skeletal Swing will no longer deal double damage against structures as well, making the back door leoric strategy much less dangerous.
We also see a huge buff to Mercenary Lord, as it now includes the benefits heroes previously got from the talent Superiority. The last time we saw serious pushing strategies as a valid way to victory was off the back of Promote, but perhaps this talent might push unused Heroes like Gazlowe over the edge. Spell Shield was also buffed as a direct response to the Kael'Thas and Jaina dominating streak as of recently.
All in all, these patch changes seem huge and will certainly change the way the game is played. It's almost impossible to fathom how all of these changes will work along side each other, so we will leave it to the PTR to tell that story in the upcoming days.
