GosuRankings: NA gets a new king and South Korea shows signs of life

Team Liquid maintains it's global rank 1 domination while Tempo Storm outs Cloud9 Maelstrom for the #1 NA spot. eStar still on top of China.
What more is there to say about Team Liquids current hold over EU Heroes of the Storm? Having just recently won Dreamhack all-stars in resounding fashion, it's clear that their #1 standing is no fluke. They are simply the most experienced and flexible Heroes team to date: their roster of eSports veterans come to every tournament calm, collected, and ready to adapt on the fly to whatever is thrown their way. Currently on a 12 match winning streak, it doesn't look like Team Liquid has any known rivals at the moment.
Favorite Heroes: Illidan, Tyrael, Arthas, Uther Lost Vikings, Abathur, Muradin, Kael'Thas
Recent Victories: Enter the Storm Cup #2, Dreamhack all-stars

We covered eStar gaming months ago as they were climbing the rankings, and it is evident now that was a wise decision. As they highest grossing Chinese team, their play is widely regarded as the best the east has to offer. Even Tempo Storm admits that China may have a meta they disagree with, they have to respect eStar Gaming. eStar does not show the clear level of dominance the top NA and EU teams flex, so whether this is a matter of eStars team skill or China's average team strength has yet to be revealed.
Favorite Heroes: Arthas, Kael'Thas, Valla, Uther, Brightwing, Rehgar
Recent Victories: eSports Champion League
Known Rivals: Team Snake
Tempo Storm is becoming a household Heroes name, and for good reason. They will be one of the first NA teams to compete on the international scale and their current 12 win leaves them confident doing so. Having recently defeated Cloud 9 Maelstrom in multiple matches, they have secured the #1 NA spot for their own and laid to rest any doubts about who is leading the American scene. Their recent inclusion of Zuna has been nothing but positive.
Favorite Heroes: Brightwing, Rehgar, Tassadar, Falstad (100% winrate in competitive matches!), Muradin, Illidan, Zeratul.
Recent Victories: ESL Heroes Major League #2, WCA NA Qualifiers
Known Rivals: Cloud9 Maelstrom
Team to look out for:
Having recently won the Asia Qualifier of the MSI Masters Gaming Arena, the South Korean Heroes team, MVP Black flips everything we know about Heroes of the Storm on it's head. With team compositions that repeatedly win with Nova and Sonya, I don't know how to explain their style of play because I haven't seen anything like it.
It is hard to gauge whether or not they are just miles above the South Korean scene or if the region as a whole is playing on a different level (possibly a lower level) than NA, EU or China. All in all, they were a pleasure to watch and I look forward to seeing them compete on the international level in the next leg of the Masters Gaming Arena.
For a great game featuring them, check out around the 30 minute mark of this past broadcast in which they use Nova and an unique Auto-Attack Sonya build to great use.
