You now have a reason to mark September Support Bloodlust now! on your calendar. Bloodlust, a grassroots Heroes of the Storm tournament organized by SolidJakeGG will follow in the footsteps of past tournaments, promising high levels of tournament play wrapped in signature Heroes community charm.

Do you remember the Town Hall heroes invitational? Kings of the Storm? The Heroes Rising tournament in LA? All of these tournaments were organized outside of major eSports organization and were started by the community, for the community. The result is usually a tournament that top teams really, REALLY want to win. Something about the hype enviroment and viral buzz these tournaments create resonate with players and viewers alike, and it's great to see SolidJake back and what he does best-- organizing Heroes events.

It helps too, that the tournament will be 100% open for any team to register. If you ever wanted to try your hand at professional Heroes of the Storm, now is your chance.

Jake had this to say in the inevitable Reddit thread about the tournaments release:

“ Really really excited to finally get this off the ground. It's something that i've wanted to do since Kings of the Storm ended a year ago. I'm building a kickass team, and we're going to make sure this event is an absolute blast for everyone involved! Thank you SO much for the insane amount of instant support we have already gotten for this event. ”

That insane support is in reference to the donations the event has already received, making roughly half of their $5,000 goal just a day after unveiling the tournament.

If you want to support the tournament, you can do so here via the Donate button. Even if you don't have much money to spare, you can still donate $1 for free by typing in the code Bloodlust at the donate screen. There is no reason not to support the scene if you love Heroes!
