OmegaZero wins Gold Series Winter, China's line-up for HCT Winter determined
OmegaZero became China's first major champion for the new year. The Blizzcon finalist - together with XHope, LovelyChook and Lvge - will represent his country at the two upcoming major LANs in the next months: The CN vs. NA Challenge and the 2017 HCT Winter Championship.
SuperJJ wins Zagreb Gaming Arena
Complexity's marquee player won the first western tournament of 2017. In Croatia's capital, SuperJJ defeated Rdu in the finals 3-1, setting up a good start for himself in 2017. Both SuperJJ and Rdu are expected to play for their teams CompLexity and G2 Esports in the ESL Trinity Series - a $150,000 team league starting this month.
Reynad, Chakki, Fr0zen to represent NA in the clash against China this month
The Luminisoty Gaming duo and the Tempo Storm founder will join forces with Liquid's Dog and Escape Gaming's Cydonia to tackle on the host nation in the coming weekend.
GosuCup HCT returns in Europe and Americas for 2017

Ben Brode: "We might exile some classic cards from Standard"
In a post on the Blizzard forums, Hearthstone's came director talked about Team 5's thoughts on card rotation. According to Ben Brode, if Standard feels to stale, they might decide to do more nerfs to the classic set - which is set to stay permanent in all Standard rotation - or alter it by rotating some of its cards out of Standard and into Wild.
Greek football club Panathinaikos picks up Hearthstone
The Athens football club has shown interest in Blizzard's card game and will officially open a card slinging division. Hearthstone is the second confirmed discipline Panathinaikos will invest in after League of Legends and according to GosuGamers sources, the roster is to be announced in the next two or so weeks.
Premier Chinese organization World Elite leaves Hearthstone
One of the oldest Chinese teams - and one of the first to pick up Hearthstone in China - is saying goodbye to the game. After the disbandment of OMG at the end of 2016, World Elite too will release its players.
