Post-nerf decklist spotlight: Muzzy’s midrange Shaman

How does a Shaman deck function with Tuskarr Totemic severely nerfed? Quite well, if you ask LG’s talented deckbuilder.
[card]rockbiter weapon[/card] and the dreaded [card]tuskarr totemic[/card] have been nerfed. The swinging 3-drop that decided so many games in the past is no longer on its ridiculous power level when it could spawn either of [card]mana tide totem[/card], [card]totem golem[/card] and [card]flametongue totem[/card] in addition to the basic totems. The changes to those two cards have hurt Aggro Shaman to a large degree, but the class is still strong, many pro players tend to believe.
The thing is, many of the contemporary midrange builds don’t play any Rockbiter Weapon as they [card]doomhammer[/card], too, and Tuskarr Totemic is of far less importance compared to its role in aggro decks. Luminosity Gaming’s Muzahidul “Muzzy” Islam reminds the Hearthstone world that Shamans were recently given their own [card]fiery war axe[/card] in [card]spirit claws[/card] and that [card]totem golem[/card] is still great value for money, meaning Shamans haven’t lost any of its early curve pressure.
