The old continent crowns a champion this weekend.

The 2016 EU Spring Championship has placed its champions into the playoffs. The players will face off against each other on the June 11-12.

Each match will consist of a best of 7 including a ban for each player. The format is single elimination bracket, meaning there will be no place for mistakes: one loss means a seed to Blizzcon slipping away.

The tournament itself offers $25,000 USD to the winner and following this, $15,000 and $10,000 for second and third place respectively. The champion will not only recieve this prize pool, but also an invitation to the Global Finals at 2016 BlizzCon and will also get 30 HCT points.

ThijsNL, AKAWonder and Crane333 are amongst the community favorites to make it through to the finals. Loyan, the teammate of Crane333 has also shown strong potential in prelims and on ladder, making Complexity a threat to be feared this weekend in Los Angeles.

The tournament will be streamed on Twitch for those willing to watch on PlayHearthstone
