Liquid's Neirea is one of the players to qualify for Vulcun Deckmasters.

The Vulcun Deckmasters league's line-up is almost complete as eight more players get through the qualifier.

June 2015 will be seeing an awful lot of competitive Hearthstone, most of it going to be played out in league systems. Yesterday evening we had the kick-off of the Hearthstone Pro League already. Now, the qualifiers for the first season of Vulcun Deckmasters are almost over as some of the biggest names in Hearthstone will begin competing over the 50,000$ prizepool very soon. The league's players are going to be split into four round robin groups where the top three of each will advance to a championship bracket.

Joining the eight invited players are some well-known names, most notably Team Archon's Jon "Orange" Westberg and Liquid's Yevgeniy "Neirea" Shumilin. EU vs. CN Season 2 finalist Apostolos "Hawkeye" Karaiskos is also getting a chance to prove that his impressive showing in China didn't happen by chance alone. Other names people might have heard of are that of the Korean Jung-Soo "Surrender" Kim and of Gareth "Cipher" House from the UK who qualified alongside quite unknown players Antti "Kufdon" Lammi, Kristoffer "herudra" Jensen and "Llaw".

However, the final line-up for the league is not yet set and done. Tonight, the losers bracket will be played out to send four more players into the competition and to let the number of players in the league grow up to 20 - the same size the Kinguin Pro League had. Among the competitors in the lose's bracket are most notably Tim "Theude" Bergmann and CompLexity's Jan "SuperJJ" Janssen.
