We didn't have to wonder for a long time after yesterday's teaser. Alternative hero portraits are coming to Hearthstone and the first one is Magni Bronzebeard, the king of Ironforge. Our community was almost right as well, though the majority voted that it'll be Muradin as a new hero portrait. We're going to get his brother, though.

We know enough information to (maybe) get excited. Each hero will come with its own hero power animation and its own set of emotes. Those who purchase the portrait - which will cost $9.99 by the way - will also get a card back. All new heroes will be fully animated, unlike the classic nine.

Although some might consider $10 a pretty steep price for just a piece of art, especially given the fact that there will be no bundle options and to purchase an entire set of new heroes will cost you $90, it's at least something that will not affect the actual gameplay. And for those tired of looking at Garrosh during these 30-minute control matches, they'll have the option of switching things up, even if it's only a visual change.
