StrifeCro to meet Lifecoach for the HouseCup #3 championship

King Cong finally dropped some games to Roger but the Taiwanese couldn’t close the series and the Cloud 9 player moved onwards.
So far, Cong “StrifeCro” Shu maintained a perfect record in Viagame’s HouseCup #3. 3-0’s against Louie “Froggy” Westbrook and Jason “Amaz” Chan in the group stage made him the only undefeated player in the tournament and he kept that momentum even against the world champion himself, James “Firebat” Kostesich. The battle between the #1 and #2 world ranked players was shorter than fans expected and StrifeCro flew to another 3-0 victory on the back of his Hunter.
Only Sheng Yuan “Roger” Luo succeeded in taking a game off of StrifeCro. The two went the full distance and played seven games before the winner could be decided. The series went set for set, with StrifeCro showing strong play on his Shaman in games four and five before Roger’s Priest retired Thrall from the match. Ultimately, it came down to the aforementioned Priest staring at StrifeCro’s Rogue in a very unfavored match-up for the Priest. On-curve [card]Sap[/card]s and [card]Deadly Poison[/card]s delayed significantly Roger’s [card]Injured Blademaster[/card]/[card]Circle of Healing[/card] opening but the Taiwanese nevertheless put up a great fight, eventually reducing StrifeCro to just 3 health.
Lacking any burst or charge or damage, however, Roger couldn’t drain the last points of health of the American and Valeera ruled over Anduin once again. StrifeCro would advance to meet Adrian “Lifecoach” Koy in the grand finals, as both players will fight to win their first major offline championship.
