Neilyo brings second GosuCup championship to Vietnam

Lan “Neilyo” Tran is the fourth GosuCup SEA champion for this season, bringing his country’s second gold medal. Renowned players like Zadkiel and Exclusiveee fell before him on his way to the trophy.
Until yesterday, there hadn’t been a SEA country to have two GosuCup champions in this season, but Neilyo from Vietnam made it happen and he was very expeditious in doing so. Neilyo was one game away from elimination all through the tournament but showed dominant play in the semi and grand finals. The new champion was fast but decisive and finished his two matches in under an hour.
With his win in GosuCup #4, Neilyo is becoming one of the newcomers to watch in the Southeast Asian scene. Not only is he the reigning champion but he already has a top 4 finish in GosuCup #2, making him 25 points and $350 richer from just two tournamnets.
