TidesofTime, Alchemixt join Rdu and Darkwonyx at WEC grand finals

Tides and Alchemixt are going to the Yellow Dragon Stadium in Hangzhou, China
Drew "TidesofTime" Biessener and Dan "Alchemixt" Wanton are the winners of the WEC North American qualifier and will be competing for the $62,000 in September.
Just like the European qualifier, the NA preliminaries for WEC featured eight of the best players in the region, vying for the two seeds into the grand final. Over the course of three days, names like Amaz, StrifeCro, TidesOfTime, Alchemixt and Reynad clashed heads, producing intense Hearthstone action.
At the start of the final day three, it was Alchemixt who emerged as the first grand finalist. The ex-DKMR ace and now a member of Curse Gaming had ploughed through Realz (3-2), TidesofTime (3-0) and Firebat (3-0) in a somewhat effortless run through the winners bracket. Coming out of a victory at DKMR Invitational #6 where he stopped Brad's five-week streak, Alchemixt was packing the needed momentum to take the tournament.
His opponent in the grand final came to be Tempo Storm's TidesofTime. Sent to the losers bracket by Alchemixt himself, Tides had to overcome his captain Reynad, SeatStory Cup champion StrifeCro and Copenhagen Wolves' Firebat with 3-1, 3-0 and 3-0 before climbing up to the final match.
This was enough to make the American eligible for the WEC main event but this was also an opportunity to redeem himself for the loss to Alchemixt earlier and he took it. Tides' Warlock scored quick back-to-back victories before Alchemixt's Hunter stopped it but Tides' own Rexxar built was enough to close the deal into a final 4-1.
Tides and Alchemixt now join Rdu and Darkwonyx from the EU qualifier as well as RenieHouR and Surrender from the KR qualifier and will compete for the lion's share of the $62,000 prize pool this fall. The final two competitors will come from the CN preliminaries who start today.
