This weekend, we have Hearthstone action around the clock. Starting tonight is the second day of the WellPlayed Cup, preceded by the Numericable M-House Cup starting in the CET afternoon.

The renowned player pool of WellPlayed Cup exchanged first punches last night. After two winners bracket rounds, DreamHack Summer champion Rdu and Fight Night star Darkwonyx are left to fight in the winners final today at 20:00 CET.

Interesting pairings thus formed in the lower bracket of the tournament. One loss away from elimination are Sjow, Kitkatkz, ThijsNL and Reynad – strong players all – who will fight for survival in the first round of the losers half. Trump and TidesofTime will await the winners and continue the tense fight downstairs.

Starting today, there’s also another tournament to watch, the Numericable M-House Cup in Milenium’s house in Marseille. It features both local Frenchmen and renowned big names such as Priest-lover Amaz and Dreamhack Bucharest’s champion Gaara. Bestmarmotte of Millenium, Dogehouse’s Gnimish, Managrind’s Kolento and currently teamless Kungen finish off the invited list of players. Two French players in the form of BebeArmenian and teammate of Bestmarmotte, Torlk, have also qualified for the €6,000 tournament.

The first and second placing will get a solid prize of €3,000 and €1,500 respectively, while the bronze medalist will bring home a hefty €700. This tournament will boast a group stage with a BO3 deck elimination format, where the top two will advance to ? 4-man double elimination bracket with a BO5 deck elimination format.
