The $3,000 WellPlayed Cup to be held in two days time gets two more invites, the ZOTAC king ThijsNL and DreamHack Summer champion Rdu.

The WellPlayed Cup, or WPC for short, was announced on 21st this month, featuring a promising group of invites which included Trump, Reynad, TidesofTime and Darkwonyx. Last night, two more names were added to the list, namely ThijsNL and Rdu.
Thijs rose to fame on the back of his five ZOTAC cups that won him an invite to IHearthU's King of the Hill where the Dutchman will defend his fifth title in a row this Friday. His professional career also led him to the big DreamHack stage where he finished top 8, losing to Reynad 0-2 in the quarters.
His new team-mate Rdu, of course, has better DreamHack memories to share. The Romanian youngster managed to place fourth in the Bucharest stop and take the gold in the recent Summer event with a 3-0 over Amaz and will be looking to claim a second trophy in just two weeks.
The 8-man double elimination tournament starts this Friday, 22:00 CET, with two more invites to be announced before that.
