This friday, Managrind held another Open tournament. People participated all over the world, both from Europe and North America, but in the end both regions had winners and losers.
Realz grabs the 1st place using his heavy-spell Rogue deck in the NA Open. The deck held potential mass card draw due to its [card]Gadgetzan Auctioneer[/card] - 20 spells combo, but at the same time had plenty of board presence thanks to early-game cards such as [card]Nat Pagle[/card] and some late-game low mana cost cards such as [card]Leeroy Jenkins[/card].
2nd place in the NA Open is sp0h with his [card]Ancient Watcher[/card] - [card]Sunfury Protector[/card] Druid deck. The deck has major board control thanks to cards like [card]Keeper of the Grove[/card] and [card]Swipe[/card] but also had major game finishers such as the famous [card]Force of Nature[/card] - [card]Savage Roar[/card] combo.
3rd/4th place in the NA Open goes to Scarface with his control Rogue deck. The deck had quite a decent amount of removal due to cards such as [card]Backstab[/card], [card]Blade Flurry[/card] and [card]Eviscerate[/card]. The deck also had a nice amount of card draw thanks to [card]Nat Pagle[/card] and [card]Loot Hoarder[/card]. The deck holds some late game finishers such as [card]Leeroy Jenkins[/card].

1st place in the EU Open goes to Timbolt with his Late-game Control Priest deck. Timbolt's deck has only a single legendary which is [card]Nat Pagle[/card] but at the same time, he has some big giants in his deck with [card]Mountain Giant[/card] and [card]Molten Giant[/card]. Timbolt had a decent amount of removal with cards like [card]Shadow Word: Pain[/card] and [card]Shadow Word: Death[/card] but at the same time had good buff card like [card]Power Word: Shield[/card].
Fabbx grabs the 2nd place in the EU Open with his Control Druid deck. The deck had the fearsome [card]Force of Nature[/card] - [card]Savage Roar[/card] combo but at the same time a good amount of removal with the help of cards such as [card]Swipe[/card] and [card]Wrath[/card]. Due to the high amount of spells in the deck, Fabbx decided to throw in a [card]Violet Teacher[/card] in order to get some more minions on the board for the early game control and some late game combos.
3rd/4th place in the EU Open goes to Shark with his no-legendary Druid deck. Shark's deck contained no legendarys which made room for more common cards such as [card]Druid of the Claw[/card] and [card]Sen'jin Shieldmasta[/card] which both are not included as much lately in tournaments. The deck held decent removal with cards such as [card]Swipe[/card], [card]Keeper of the Grove[/card] and [card]Wrath[/card].
