The hunt for the set's biggest pulls has only just begun, but collectors are already pushing some cards into eye-watering territory.

Palworld's first trading card game has only just arrived, but collectors are already spending thousands of dollars to secure its rarest cards. Released on 30 July, Dawn of Palpagos marks Pocketpair's long-awaited debut in the trading card space, after first announcing the project in January. The launch appears to have attracted enormous interest, with the set reportedly selling more than 3.5 million packs on release day.

That demand has quickly spilled over to eBay, where some of the set's biggest chase cards have already sold for four-figure sums. One copy of the rarest card even changed hands before Dawn of Palpagos officially went on sale.

Which Palworld TCG cards are selling for the highest prices?

The standout sale so far belongs to the Soul Golden Cattiva SSS card, also known as Gold Soul Cattiva, the rarest card in Dawn of Palpagos. According to completed eBay listings, one copy sold for almost US$4,000 on 27 July, three days before the set officially launched.
 

Because Soul cards serve as the game's mana resource, they are expected to be among the most desirable cards for both players and collectors. Combined with its SSS rarity, Gold Soul Cattiva has quickly established itself as Dawn of Palpagos' ultimate chase card.

The second headline-grabbing card is Chillet: Dragon Whisperer SSP, which sold for US$1,400 a day before launch. Since release, completed sales have generally settled between around US$900 and US$1,100, suggesting that the initial launch frenzy has started to cool despite demand remaining exceptionally strong. While active listings often advertise much higher asking prices, completed sales provide a more accurate picture of what collectors are actually willing to pay.

  • Although prices continue to fluctuate as more packs are opened, several cards have consistently emerged among Dawn of Palpagos' most expensive pulls.
  • Lyleen: Blessing of the Goddess SSP remains one of the set's most sought-after full-art cards. Early listings approached US$1,000, although completed sales have more recently settled around the US$500 to US$600 mark.
  • Jormuntide Ignis: Savage Lava Dragon SSP has also become one of the premium collector cards, helped by the Pal's popularity in the base game and its relatively low pull rate.
  • Katress: Abyssal Sorcerer SP has been another standout despite not receiving the higher SSP rarity. Completed listings have ranged from roughly US$300 to nearly US$700.
  • Meanwhile, the full-art Zoe's Strategy SP Trainer card has established itself as one of the set's most valuable support cards, with completed sales generally falling between US$250 and US$300.

The speed at which Dawn of Palpagos' rarest cards have reached four-figure prices has inevitably drawn comparisons with the Pokémon Trading Card Game, where high-demand products have often been snapped up by scalpers before genuine collectors have a chance to buy them at retail.
