Helldivers 2 has finally unveiled its highly-anticipated crossover with Warhammer 40,000, introducing the Castellan's Creed Legendary Warbond, inspired by the elite Cadian Kasrkin. Launching on 12 August, the Legendary Warbond features themed weapons, armour sets, and a range of cosmetics.

What's in the Castellan's Creed Legendary Warbond?

The Helldivers 2 x Warhammer 40,000 Castellan's Creed Legendary Warbond includes a pair of new armaments–the R/40-K Hot-Shot Marksman Rifle as its primary weapon and the P/40-K Bolt Pistol as its sidearm. The lineup also introduces a new Stratagem, the 40-K Meltagun, alongside the G/40-K Meltamine throwable.

The crossover also includes two armour sets. The first, the TG-8 Sharpshooter, is a medium armour set featuring the True Grit armour passive, which grants +20 weapon handling and +30% reload speed for support weapons.

The second, the TG-122 Demo-Trooper, is a heavy armour set that "faithfully recreates the storied Charan armour for a new wave of Helldivers". It also comes with the same True Grit armour passive.

Additional cosmetics included in the crossover Legendary Warbond are:

  • Camo Cloak player card
  • Camo Cloak cape
  • City Fighter's Resolve player card
  • City Fighter's Resolve cape
  • "Still Standing" player title
  • Castellan's Green patterns for the FRV, EXO Suit, Shuttle, and Hellpod

When is the Warhammer 40K Castellan's Creed Legendary Warbond coming out?

The Warhammer 40,000 crossover arrives in Helldivers 2 on 12 August. From then on, players can purchase the Castellan's Creed Legendary Warbond from their Super Destroyer, the game's central hub.

The crossover marks one of the community's most anticipated collaborations. Following the reveal, many fans criticised the Legendary Warbond for its lack of primary weapons and the absence of melee weapons. Others, however, welcomed its more well-rounded selection of gear, particularly the inclusion of new throwables. Either way, we'll soon see how the galactic war unfolds with armaments from the grimdark universe of Warhammer 40,000 reinforcing the Helldivers.
