GTA VI Amazon listing seemingly reveals new open world details, social media features, and more
Rockstar Games might have just let slip a few more details about GTA VI.
New details for Grand Theft Auto VI have seemingly surfaced online, originating from an Amazon Store listing of the game put up by developer Rockstar Games itself. The game’s store page on Amazon Brazil is a little different compared to other Amazon store regions, containing new gameplay details previously unmentioned in Rockstar’s marketing material.
Grand Theft Auto VI

Can you play as both Jason and Lucia in GTA VI?
While Rockstar Games hasn’t released a new trailer for GTA VI since May 2025, the developer has finally shared new information on the game with a massive marketing drop. Rockstar opened up pre-orders for the sequel earlier this week, and released over 80 new screenshots showcasing the contents of GTA VI’s Ultimate Edition and pre-order bonuses.
Rockstar’s Amazon Brazil store listing has now gone a step further to share additional details from the game, including more information on alleged social media features, next-generation visuals, and open world activities.
Here’s the Amazon Brazil description for the game (via machine translation):
- Larger Map: Explore Vice City, beaches, swamps, small towns, and the many regions of Leonida.
- Two Playable Protagonists: Switch between Jason and Lucia throughout the story and take part in co-op-style missions together.
- A More Living Open World: NPCs with their own daily routines, random events, interactive businesses, and a greater sense of immersion.
- Integrated Social Media: Watch viral videos, follow influencers, and discover world events through the in-game smartphone.
- Next-Generation Graphics: Advanced lighting, dynamic weather, more natural animations, and a high level of environmental detail.
Some of this information lines up with GTA VI’s earlier marketing material. For example, in the game’s first trailer, several Leonida citizens can be seen in a series of TikTok-like short videos being played on an unknown social media platform.
It’s important to note that these details have not been directly confirmed by Rockstar. Amazon’s other regional store pages for GTA VI do not include this additional marketing copy, either. Hence, it’s best to take this information with a grain of salt for now.
GTA VI will launch on 19 November, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
