Fields of Mistria is getting closer to a full release. 

The Stardew Valley-like farming life simulation video game Fields of Mistria is officially coming out of early access. During the Wholesome Direct showcase held during Summer Game Fest 2026, developer NPC Studio debuted a new trailer for the game, confirming upcoming features like marriage, childbirth, and more in 1.0.

What is coming in Fields of Mistria 1.0?

The charming farming life sim Fields of Mistria is closing the book on its early access era. The game originally launched in early access on 5 August, 2024, and will have spent two long years in development prior to its full release. Fields of Mistria 1.0 is now set to launch on 5 August, 2026, with a whole lot of new content for players to dive into. 

For starters, villagers and romance options are getting a bunch of improvements. NPC Heart caps are being raised to 10 Hearts, with 10 Heart Proposal and Wedding events also available. Children can also be born after marrying NPCs. Additionally, Stillwell and Zorel are joining the Saturday Market. 

The Mines and Dungeons are getting more quests and rewards. Renown level cap is also getting raised to 100, and more town repair questline events also allow players to complete the entire town repair storyline. More requests can also be found in the request board, and there are more museum sets and rewards to complete. 

More skill perks are also coming to the game, along with more furniture and decor, more cosmetics, and extra mount skins. Although not directly stated, it also looks like players will be able to ride smaller mounts like chickens in 1.0. Achievements, localisation languages, and other balancing changes are also in the works. 

NPC Studio has stated that the 1.0 release will allow players to complete the game and its storylines at long last, but 1.0 is “only the beginning.” Hence, players can expect even more content to come.

When is Fields of Mistria 1.0 coming out?

Fields of Mistria 1.0 is launching on 5 August, 2026, on PC.
