Who is Senna in 2XKO and League of Legends?

Senna was first teased in an 2XKO dev update alongside Akali last February. In League, she is a marksman and support hybrid, combining long-range damage with healing and utility for her allies.

Senna spent her life training to defend humanity as one of the Sentinels of Light alongside Lucian. During a mission in the Shadow Isles, she was ultimately captured by Thresh, the infamous tormentor who traps souls within his cursed lantern.

While imprisoned, Senna didn’t just survive, she adapted. Exposed to the Black Mist inside the lantern, she learned to harness its supernatural power for herself rather than be consumed by it.

In a rare feat, she became the only known human to break free from Thresh’s eternal prison. Now wielding both light and darkness, Senna continues her fight against corruption, purging evil from the world with a power born from both captivity and resilience.

What is Senna’s gameplay in 2XKO like?

Senna’s gameplay is built around a dual-form system that switches between ranged zoning and fast rushdown pressure.

In base form, she plays a traditional control-heavy game. Using her relic-stone cannon, she zones with beam shots, grenades, and Black Mist projectiles to hold space and dominate neutral. This is where she builds Wraith Meter, so the focus is on safe pokes, spacing, and forcing the opponent to approach on her terms.

Once she has at least one bar of Wraith Meter, Senna can activate Wraith form and her kit shifts into full offence. She gains enhanced mobility, including multi-directional air dashes, plus stronger close-range tools for mix-ups, cross-ups, and combo extensions. It turns her into a rushdown threat who can suddenly overwhelm opponents after playing patient neutral.

Her Ultimate stays consistent across both forms as a full-screen, floor-covering blast that punishes opponents anywhere on screen. In base form it’s a purifying surge of light, while in Wraith form it becomes an eruption of Black Mist. Either way, it’s a high-impact conversion tool that can swing momentum instantly.

The trade-off is timing. Wraith form drains over time, so Senna has a limited window to cash out before returning to base form. At a high level, her strength comes from seamless transitions, converting zoning confirms into Wraith activations and snowballing pressure before resetting back to neutral control.

Who is Thresh in 2XKO and League of Legends?

Thresh, also known as the Chain Warden, is a versatile support champion in League of Legends with a strong reputation for playmaking and control. In the lore, he is a sadistic and highly intelligent undead spirit from the Shadow Isles who takes pleasure in tormenting souls and imprisoning them within his twisted lantern, condemning them to endless suffering.

Thresh is known as one of the most mechanically expressive support champions in League, built around creating opportunities through precise hooks, crowd control, and well-timed repositioning tools that can completely swing fights.

How is Thresh’s gameplay like in 2XKO?

Thresh is shaping up to be one of 2XKO's most setup-focused champions, with a kit built around controlling space and creating opportunities through his lantern. Dark Passage allows Thresh to deploy his lantern onto the battlefield, unlocking Lantern Tag, a unique mechanic that lets either character reposition directly to its location. This gives Thresh access to unusual combo routes, pressure sequences, and mix-ups that could make him one of the game's most creative tag-focused characters.

He also retains his signature hook playstyle through Death Sentence and Death Binding, both of which can pull him towards opponents on contact. Meanwhile, Spirit Summon and Spirit Torment introduce The Wretch as a persistent threat that can pressure opponents and occupy space while Thresh looks for openings. His supers further reinforce his control-oriented identity.

Cruelty summons giant blades that track the opponent's location, while The Box traps opponents inside a confined area before launching them away with the final hit. His Level 2 super, Damnation, functions as an invincible reversal, giving him a powerful answer when under pressure.

Taken together, Thresh's kit positions him as a technical control character who excels at manipulating positioning, setting traps, and creating powerful tag-based setups. To view Thresh's move list, you may click here.

When will Thresh and Senna arrive in 2XKO?

Both champions will arrive on 9 June 2026, joining 13 other champions in the 2XKO roster.

Beyond their long-running rivalry in League, Senna and Thresh look set to bring two of the most unique kits seen in 2XKO so far. Senna rewards players who can switch gears between patient zoning and explosive offence, while Thresh appears built for those who enjoy setting traps and controlling the pace of a match. With both champions joining the roster on 9 June, everyone will have to wait and see whether light or darkness comes out on top in 2XKO.
